- Experienced - With eight years of experience representing the people of Grand Rapids at the County level I understand what it means to listen and make heartfelt decisions. By having the support and endorsements of many current county commissioners, I have the ability to work in partnership with the County Commission to get the job done.
- Engaged - Being active in the community and listening to your concerns is important to me. I’m involved in lives of the residents of Kent County through organizations like senior meals, neighborhood associations, and my church. While serving as County Commissioner I worked to move polls to convenient locations for seniors.
- Environmentally Friendly -
As County Commissioner, I was instrumental in
starting the Electronic Recycling Program. As
your next City Commissioner I will focus on
protecting our environment and resouces.
